Whoa Dough & Nico Scarlato

LaunchHouse Update - Whoa! Dough

As described in a previous blog, entrepreneurship students are working with startups from the LaunchHouse for their 3-week course. One of the startups, Whoa! Dough, had a convention in New York City and brought a Hiram student to help!

Nico Scarlato - Hiram Student

Nico Scarlato is a sophomore at Hiram College and working with Whoa Dough for his 3-week entrepreneurship course. He took advantage of the opportunity to travel with Whoa Dough's Digital Sales Manager, Abby Frederick, and represent the company at the Plant Based World Expo & Convention in New York City.

The first day of the convention was very busy and Nico worked hard giving away samples and networking with business professionals that could benefit Whoa Dough. The second day of the convention was not as busy, allowing Nico to explore the convention and get samples from other businesses. Whoa Dough had a very successful convention and seemed to be the most popular table. Nico had a great experience in NYC and learned a lot while working with Whoa Dough.

Happy Holidays!

On behalf of Entrepreneurship at Hiram College, we wish everyone a wonderful winter break. We had a great Fall semester and are looking forward to seeing everyone back for the Spring semester. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays with friends and family!
